“Transformers One” is an animated prequel film set within the expansive Transformers universe. Directed by Josh Cooley, known for his work on “Toy Story 4,” the movie delves into the origins of the Autobots and Decepticons, providing fans with a deep dive into the backstory of these iconic characters and the planet Cybertron.

The story is set on Cybertron, long before the events of the previous Transformers films. It explores the early days of the planet’s inhabitants, focusing on the relationship between two of its most influential figures: Optimus Prime (then known as Orion Pax) and Megatron.

The movie begins with Cybertron as a thriving, technologically advanced world, where peace reigns under the leadership of the Council of Primes. Orion Pax, a young and idealistic data clerk, is committed to the values of peace and unity. He works closely with his mentor, Alpha Trion, and is deeply inspired by the ideals of freedom and justice.

On the other hand, Megatron, a rising star in the military ranks, is a charismatic leader who believes that Cybertron needs to assert its dominance to maintain order. He is initially portrayed as a noble figure, striving to improve Cybertronian society, but his methods become increasingly authoritarian as he seeks to consolidate power.

As the story unfolds, the ideological differences between Orion Pax and Megatron become more pronounced, leading to a growing rift. Orion believes in cooperation and mutual respect, while Megatron starts to advocate for a more forceful approach, eventually leading to the formation of the Decepticons. This division sets the stage for the epic conflict that will eventually engulf the entire planet.
